I gave it four stars because most athletic types would find no elevation in their heart rate as they would get in belly dancing ... plus the workout is short. I am SO glad I didn't order the hula because this video almost put me to sleep.I was thinking this would be the real deal.. the hip shaking, sweat producing Tahitian dancing I saw in Hawaii. That being said it is a great video otherwise. The movements are great for core strength. The average person will not learn the hip movements well enough to look like the models, but then again, if you aren't size 2 you will never look like them anyway!!! If you don't take that seriously,you can have fun trying if you don't look in the mirror too much. Nothing is really fast, just a little tricky. Also, you will not get those beautiful arm movements unless you have a lot of dance training and more instruction than given here. This is the type of class I could see for a cruise ship full of people overeating every day and out of shape. Gives you the feeling of being a dancer even if you could never be one. Some movements are a little wierd.. like lunges while you undulate your hips, squats interspersed with hip figure 8's. They had to do something related to fitness I guess.
